Partnering with iHeartMedia Chicago and the Chicago Urban League, 1-800-TruckWreck, led by Amy Witherite, played an important role in sponsoring the 2024 "Brilliantly Black Business Awards". Aiming to uplift local Black-owned businesses, the initiative, which has grown since its launch in 2020, recognized 10 winners who will receive $100,000 in media exposure and business development resources. Amy Witherite emphasized the importance of supporting communities, stating that celebrating minority business owners aligns with the core values of 1-800-TruckWreck. This partnership highlights the achievements of Black entrepreneurs and strengthens the cultural and economic fabric of Chicago.
